Introducing Mighty Small, Cape Town’s first indie conscious kids store, stocking only locally produced wares thoughtfully created by small-scale designers and artisans.

At Mighty Small promote slow, ethically made children’s products in a delightful child-friendly shopping experience. We’ve put all the best local kids brands under one roof so that well-meaning but time-pressed mamas and papas like you can easily and conveniently navigate away from the usual stores selling mass-produced imported items when shopping for your little loved ones.

We have hand-picked the best creators as part of our ever evolving collection aimed at kids aged six years and under. These heritage pieces are so well crafted that they can be handed down generations. Every product you’ll find here is proudly local, passionately designed, carefully handcrafted and carries our deepest gratitude for supporting SA talent.

In addition to our wares, we host weekly kids music, yoga, craft, and story sessions run by some of Cape Towns best trained facilitators.

Mighty Small is situated in the heart of Cape Town city bowl. Forming part of a creative hub in Gardens, we have the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with the likes of Deluxe Coffeeworks, the beautiful Central decor store, and Sins of Style tattoo parlor. So you can get your daily dose of caffeine, catch up on emails, or do some shopping whilst your curious kiddos explore the store and enjoy one of our weekly sessions.

As a mom of two little ones, the future of our planet sits heavily on my heart. Mighty Small is a small but sincere step towards making our world a better place to hand down to our children. All the whilst having fun!
